Today the 6 French students worked on naming notes. The 6 English students will do this soon. Here were the instructions:
7. When you’re done, click on “Theory Lessons” under Note Naming and do “Note Duration”. After you have finished this, continue reading articles after “Note Duration” or do the “Super Hard Challenge Mode” (under Note Naming).
- Go to www.mneufeld.weebly.com (you're already here!)
- Go to Grade 6 Band, then Note Naming.
- Depending on your instrument, you will choose either Bass Clef or Treble Clef. Do Lines Only, then Spaces Only. Clarinets and trumpets will do Treble Clef Below The Staff, and tubas will do Bass Clef Below The Staff. Practice this until you can match the notes quickly and accurately.
- Work on (your instrument) first 6 Notes until you can match the notes quickly and accurately.
- Finally, complete the (your instrument) test. You must get a score of 48/50 or above to pass. Retake the test until you get that score.
